One coastal course and one race on today’s KRYS MATCH programme

For this final day of racing in La Trinité-sur-Mer, the KRYS MATCH fleet will initially take part in a 22-mile coastal course, prior to the more familiar Race format.

For the coastal course, the MOD70s Foncia, Veolia Environnement and Race for Water, along with the prototype Gitana 11-Edmond de Rothschild will set off from La Trinité before passing offshore of Port Haliguen and Houat.

Jean Maurel – Race Director: “This will be the only coastal course in this KRYS MATCH but it certainly won’t lack appeal. It won’t just be down to the start phases or manoeuvres! The fleet will be making headway under all points of sail in a light, 10 knot wind, gusting to 15 knots. The tactician’s role will be crucial for managing the variations and the wind shifts, which may shake things up a bit!”

Start at 1400 hours off the Kerbihan headland in La Trinité-sur-Mer!
